Israeli army probing Gaza Strip abuse

Published on 13 November 2009 - 4:43pm
More about:

The Israeli army is conducting its own investigation into allegations of abuse  by its troops during the war in the Gaza Strip earlier this year.

A military spokesperson told Dutch media the army has already questioned 70 Palestinians near the Erez border crossing. Israel says the probe focusses on looting, violence against prisoners and shooting at civilians carrying a white flag. Dutch media say the questioned Palestinians have been heard previously by the Goldstone commission. The commission's report accused Israel of war crimes. Israel denies its investigation is related to the report, saying it always carries out its own probes into possible problems.

It is very unfortunate that the Zionists do not see that their path to segregation, apartheid, a two state goal and a total Jewish State is doomed. In the very end, and I will not see it in my life time, their will be one land for all. Without sharing of the wealth and keeping the barrier up the Zionists are losers. Unfortunately a cornered entity may act irrational and cause more suffering in its death struggle. The strongest barrier is in the mind of the Zionist leaders, that has to come down, hopefully before they come to lay in a coma like the rogue Sharon.

And the outcome...another Israeli whitewash??? Israel has a knack for ignoring details that doesn't suit it.
