Klaas-Jan Huntelaar looks unnervingly like a butch version of Catwoman at the moment. He is wearing a face mask to protect his nose, which is broken in two places.
The Holland and Schalke 04 goal machine sustained his injuries during a recent Europa League match on Thursday against AEK Lakarna of Cyprus.
Nevertheless, the Dutch striker was back on the training pitch in Katwijk on Wednesday, where Holland are practicing for a friendly against Switzerland.
But in spite of his enthusiasm he will not play on Friday, as Holland coach Bert van Maarwijk and Klaas-Jan do not want to take any chances.
Earlier he boasted: “With the mask I have a good nose for goals again.”
