The Dutch national side has won its second qualifying match for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, beating Finland 2-1. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored both the goals.
The Dutch got off to a flying start in Rotterdam, with Huntelaar heading home a cross from Wesley Sneijder after just seven minutes. And barely ten minutes later it was 2-0. A foul by Markus Heikkinen gave Holland a penalty, and Huntelaar didn’t waste the chance.
But it took Finland just two minutes to take revenge, with a header by Mikael Forssell off a corner from Daniel Sjölund. From then on, the Dutch team had some narrow escapes, but the Finns failed to make good their chances and get an equaliser past keeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
After the team's earlier 5-0 walkover against San Marino, Holland heads group E jointly with Sweden.
