Mexican police have arrested the 'Heroin King'. US authorities claim he is the largest heroin supplier for the US market.
The Mexican drug squad say José Antonio Medina, also known as Don Pepe, has been smuggling 200 kilos of heroin over the border each month, mainly to Los Angeles. This earned him 12 million dollars per month.
The 36-year old smuggler hid the drugs in secret compartments of vehicles crossing the borders between the Mexican city of Tijuana and the US city of San Diego.
