A spokesperson for Transavia says 10 aircraft were damaged when a severe hailstorm swept across Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport on 26 May.
Transavia conducted a thorough check on all its aircraft that were at the airport during the storm after regular maintenance revealed that hailstones had damaged a Boeing 737. The airline says moving parts on the wings of its Boeing 737's will have to be replaced.
Transavia says it will rent a number of aircraft to replace those being repaired and some flights will experience delays.
