Two dangerous criminals who escaped from a jail in the German city of Aachen are back behind bars.
The first of the men was arrested last week and police caught up with the second jailbreaker this morning in the village of Schermbeck, near Wesel. No one was injured in the operation.
Both men were serving life sentences for murder and attempted murder. The authorities have arrested a prison guard on suspicion of aiding their escape.
