Australia’s Mark Webber has claimed his first Formula One victory at the German Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver beat fellow team-mate Sebastian Vettel into second place. Brazil’s Felipe Massa came third.
Although Webber was penalized for contact with the car driven by the Brazilian Rubens Barrichello shortly after the start, he still managed to regain the lead and claim victory.
Britain’s Jenson Button remains the overall Formula One season winner, with Sebastian Vettel in second place and Mark Webber in third.
