Police in Hamburg in Germany have arrested three men who ran a drugs network smuggling cocaine and marijuana from the Netherlands into Germany.

Hamburg police report that the leader of the gang, made up of people with Turkish backgrounds, had at least three kilos of cocaine and 60 kilos of marijuana in his possession.

Raids were carried out at 17 addresses, six of them in the Netherlands. Dutch police say they confiscated kilos of drugs and a number of weapons.
