A gas explosion has entirely destroyed a five-story apartment block in the centre of the city of Liege in Belgium.
Twenty people have been admitted to hospital with injuries, according to a police spokesperson. At least five people are missing, possibly buried beneath the rubble, and a major rescue operation is underway. Police say 18 people lived in the building.
