Police in the central Dutch town of Culemborg have arrested two people in the Terweijde district. One of them was carrying a baseball bat, while the other refused to leave the area when requested to do so.
Terweijde is still subject to the emergency regulations and a ban on large public gatherings brought into effect in the wake of the recent increased tension between Dutch-Moluccan and Dutch-Moroccan youths.
On Friday, a call to form a Moluccan civic patrol appeared on the internet. The call received answers from all over the country. Police have since informed the originator of the call that such a patrol is unacceptable.
