France to sell millions of surplus flu shots

Published on 3 January 2010 - 4:36pm
More about:

France plans to sell millions of surplus doses of the vaccine for the H1N1 flu strain. French newspaper Le Parisien says the government has asked diplomats to scout for potential buyers.

The French health ministry says it ordered 94 million individual vaccinations to provide two shots for every inhabitant. Doctors later decided that a single vaccination would be enough. The daily says Egypt has already purchased two million units of the vaccine, and Qatar another 300,000. Swine flu, known as Mexican flu in the Netherlands, has so far killed an estimated 198 people in France.

RNW Radio Netherlands Worldwide

Thank you for showing the images of the drugs. but, Could you be so kind to show images FRONT and BACK of the Drug Package or Frasq/Container? The front is not enough if it doesn't show the Components/ingredients and Warnings.
Please let me know if you have Thiomersal=Thimerosal and A H1N1 or any otherone containing mercury.

Thank You

Give it away to countries that can't afford the vaccines. Why is it, you can't help the poor countries ( not just the ones with oil and gas)? Aren't their lives just as important?
