France leads Netherlands 2-1 in Davis Cup

In Saturday's Davis Cup World Group play-offs between the Netherlands and France in the Dutch city of Maastricht, the French duo Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Mickaël Llodra defeated the Dutch duo Thiemo de Bakker and Igor Sijsling 6-3, 3-6, 7-6, 6-4. The two teams played a balanced game up until the end of the third set.

 

France is now leading 2-1 in the play-offs, which end on Sunday. On Friday, Thiemo de Bakker defeated Gaël Monfils in a single, while Jo-Wilfried Tsonga beat his Dutch opponent Jesse Huto Galung.

 

On Sunday, Thiemo de Bakker and Jesse Huto Galung will play against the French duo Jo-Wilfriend Tsonga and Gaël Monfils.
