Former Bosnian Muslim leader Ejup Ganic has been arrested at London's Heathrow Airport on accusations of war crimes.
Serbia has requested his extradition because of Mr Ganic's alleged role in an ambush in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo in the early 1990s, in which more than 40 unarmed soldiers of the former Yugoslav People's Army were killed. The convoy was under the protection of the United Nations. After the war, Ejup Ganic became president of the Bosnian-Croat federation.
