An extra vaccination round against Mexican flu will be held in two weeks time following a decision by the Dutch health services.
After consultation with the Ministry of Health the services want to give another chance to people who missed last week's first round of inoculations. The target group remains the same: children aged between six months and five years, and the family members of babies younger than six months.
In the same week, starting on 14 December, the planned second round of jabs will be given to people who were inoculated in the first round. Seventy percent percent of those invited to be vaccinated against the A(H1N1) flu actually turned up last week.
