Pilots at Finnish airline Finnair are to take industrial action on Monday. Although the main strike is scheduled for Monday, flights will also be cancelled on Sunday.

Finnair passengers are advised to consult the airline’s website. The strike is part of a yearlong conflict between pilots and management over working conditions. Like other airlines, Finnair is suffering from the effects of recession and has made sweeping cutbacks.
