FC Twente remains in first place

FC Twente remains in first place in the Premier League after defeating Vitesse 1-0 during a home game on Saturday. The Costa Rican striker Bryan Ruiz scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute.

 

AZ defeated Roda JC 4-2. AZ striker Jermain Lens scored two goals.

 

In Breda, NAC and N.E.C. played a spectacular match which ended in a 3-3 tie. Nijmegen's new trainer Wiljan Vloet was satisfied with the result.

 

At the bottom of the Premier League, RKC Waalwijk won its third game of the season during a home game. RKC beat FC Groningen 3-1.
