      European drug bosses arrested in Amsterdam

      Dutch and German police have arrested four of the leading figures in a European drug network.

      German police say the detainees are two Dutchmen and two Turkish men based in Amsterdam. A fifth member of the network was apprehended in Bulgaria.

      They are suspected of setting up a narcotics smuggling route from Pakistan to Hamburg.
