Dutch women swimmers win more gold

The Dutch female relay team has won gold at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Istanbul.

Hinkelien Schreuder, Moniek Nijhuis, Inge Dekker and Ranomi Kromowidjojo, swam the 4x50 metres medley in 1.42,69 minutes breaking the world record. Sweden came second and Russia third.

The championships have been extraordinarily successful for the Dutch women this year. Ms Dekker and Ms Schreuder have won four gold medals at the championships, and for Ms Nijhuis and Ms Kromowidjojo it was their second gold medal.
