Eight games played and eight matches won, the Dutch national football team has won its last qualifier for the World Cup completing a stunning 100 percent record.
Never before has the team won every single qualifying match in the run up to a major competition.
Even before the game against Scotland on Wednesday the national team had already amassed enough points to win the qualifying group.
But with an eye on achieving that perfect run of matches the team was never going to underestimate the game in Glasgow against a proud Scottish team fighting for its last chance to get to South Africa.
It only took four minutes for the Dutch to create the first good chance of the game with Dirk Kuijt shooting against the post with the Scottish keeper David Marhall well beaten.
The Scottish keeper was again in action in the opening phase of the match when he had to tip a long-distance shot from Wesley Sneijder over the bar.
The Scots too created chances in the first half with Dutch keeper Michel Vorm making a great save from Kenny Miller who also later hit the crossbar.
At half-time the score was still nil-nil and it wasn't until ten minutes before the end of the game that deadlock was broken, Dutch substitute Eljero Elia making his mark with a brilliant piece of individual skill.
A comfortable win to end a what has turned into a perfect series of qualifiying games for the Dutch.
As ever the team is full of wonderful individual players and as ever the question is, will the Dutch be able to deliver when it comes to the finals themselves next year?
