Insurance giant Aegon has repaid the Dutch government one billion euros, a third of the state support it received last year.
Including interest and early repayment costs, it paid a total of 1.15 billion euros.
The banking and insurance company SNS Reaal has announced the repayment of 185 million euros to the Dutch state plus 7.5 million euros in interest. 565 million of the 750-million-euro capital injection it received in 2008 is still outstanding.
