In a series of incidents in Afghanistan eight Dutch soldiers have been injured. The soldiers were in a convoy on its way to Kandahar air base.

Around 60 kilometres south of Camp Holland one of the vehicles drove over an explosive device. A few kilometres further on fighting broke out after a roadside bomb exploded. Later a trailer drove over an improvised explosive device. No details have been given about the soldiers’ injuries except that they are not in a critical condition.
