A Dutch neo-Nazi has offered to donate his sperm to four fertility clinics in the Netherlands in an effort to promote what he calls "a strong white race". Patrick de Bruin attached the condition that his sperm should only be used for white couples' infertility treatment.
An investigation by public broadcaster VARA and the Kafka research group revealed that two clinics, Saint Gertrude in the town of Elsendorp and Rijnstate Hospital in Arnhem, agreed to his conditions. Mr De Bruin was turned away by the Amsterdam Medical Centre and the Utrecht Medical Centre. Meanwhile, the Arnhem hospital decided to destroy the sperm donated by the ideologically motivated donor. The incident prompted calls from fertility doctors for stricter guidelines.
Mr De Bruin wrote on an extreme-right web forum that he was donating his "Aryan seed" in order to compensate for the high birth rate among Muslims. He wants as many blond blue-eyed children to be born as possible, he wrote on the Stormfront site.
Lebensborn
The neo-Nazi made an explicit reference to the "Lebensborn" project of Nazi Germany in the 1930s and 40s. This scheme aimed at populating Germany and the countries occupied by the Nazis with "racially pure" white people. The programme involved propaganda, preferential treatment of "biologically fit" Aryan parents and members of the SS elite corps. Some 8,000 children were reported to have been born in so-called Lebensborn child care homes.

Hitler wanted to create a " Master race" and a "Herrenvolk". He never managed to do so, because his"superior" and "pure" "Germanic" race and troops were inferior and defeated on the battlefields of the Second World War.

Hitler did not suceed in war because he pushed the envelope by moving too fast and not taking advice from his military officers. He was a failure in his paintings and in his acts of war. If you look at his paintings and at his Herronvolk, they both have something in common. Both were distorted and out of time for the 1930s. I wonder how many scientists are presently working on building a Herronvolk, today?

I am a South African of european race (call me an "european-african" if you want to - as compared to the terminology "african american").
O.k. so one caucasian (european-raced) individual decided to donate his sperm, in an european country, with the condition that it may be used by another european-raced woman only. So WHY IS THE BIG DEAL!!! ? Why on earth is this even on the news - IT SHOULD NOT RECEIVE ANY MEDIA ATTENTION!!! I certainly do not share the same views as anyone who calls himself a neo-nazie, though his request in itself (using his sperm for a european-raced woman only) is fair and must be RESPECTED.
If anyone looks at the latest statistics, the european (caucasian) rate in europe is declining quickly and is being replaced by individuals of african and asian decent / races, and individuals with other religions then mainstream europe. The whole society is systematically being changed at a rapid rate.
Why is any european then victimised if they try to do their part in keeping europe the way it has been for the past 2000 or more years? The european-race is the only race on earth that tries to become extinct and replaced by another race / nation. How many people of Turkish race is living in the Netherlands (40 % of Amsterdam?), compared the percentage people of European-race who lives in Turkey (0.0001% ?)

I really appreciate your views JW, and agree totally. However, Nature thinks otherwise...if it weren't so, we would have had only one race-of one colour only, on this planet. We have different races in different parts of the earth, who have their own geographical, cultural and genetic identity. Intermingling of races has produced lovely people too, but they have lost their identities and represent none. When an individual of pure genetic order passes away, we not only lose him/her, but also part of culture and genes he/she represents. The other day, a journalist on South Asia Wired was lamenting of the death of a language and culture represented by the last living member of a clan, who died. It may not be of much concern to you, but our earth is a home to a variety of cultures and races, and that makes it lovely. How would you like to have a garden full of flowers of one species and colour only? A garden looks lovely because of the variety, and so are the different species of plants and animals that make our lonely planet so vibrant and lively in this universe full of inhabitable planets and stars. Preserving the species is the birthright Nature has given to all, but, yes without abusing or humiliating or dominating other species/ races. We want unity in diversity, and love for all.
Nature does not think otherwise. As the globalization progresses, intermarriage will continue to increase. Racial differences emerged out of a relative isolation of human populations. Now, the opposite force will come to bear. I'm all in favour of cultural and biological diversity, but it's not going to last.

I welcome this convergence. Though never directed at me, racism has hurt people who I know and love. Jealous guarding, or exclusion of racial traits reminds me of the worst moments in human history. Perhaps people will get along better when there are fewer visible differences.

What you call 'race' is unimportant from a genetic standpoint. Read up about human genetics and how the scientific world now views race. Racial purity has always been a farce perpetuated by those who wish to maintain their status within hegemonies. The fact that people believe in purity doesn't make it real.

I find this a bit creepy in some way. I am white, single and waiting to be insemenated so I can finally have a baby after waiting several years and having suffered 3 failed long term relationships. I am on a waiting list at one of those hospitals and I really hope I don't get the donation from a neo nazi. I don't want my child to be born from racist genes. Ok there is the debate or nurture/nature but I want my child to be raised with a open mind and not be narrow minded.
There is nothing wrong in preserving your race. We have the same problem emerging in India. Certain religions and castes refuse to go for family planning, and on the other hand other religions and castes are opting for one-child or no-child policy, resulting in disparity among the demography of the population. The Parsi community is one such community, which has dwindling population. They do not marry out of caste and prefer to remain single, resulting in fewer and fewer new births. The Kashmiri Pandits, who are out of their home state, too are facing the same problem as most are going for intercaste marriages. The White genes for White couples, is not a bad idea.
What is wrong with wanting to keep your own people alive? Statistics clearly show that the indigenous European populations are declining rapidly due to very low birth-rates.
What is evil about wanting to keep a specific kind of people alive? What if the situations were reversed and there was a clear sign that other races/colours of people (other than white) were steadily declining and these people wanted to keep their people alive by donating sperm only to their own kind, then you'd see wide-spread support in both European as well as other countries around the world.
I'm not a (neo-)nazi myself, I am in favour of treating people decently regardless of race, colour and/or religion. But this article is rediculous! It implies that European peoples don't have the right to do something about their own declining numbers and that we should just accept it and go extinct without a fight.
Nowhere is it mentioned that white people are better or superiour to other people(s), it is just to remedy the fact that white Europeans will be extinct if the current trend keeps going on.
