The draw has been announced for UEFA’s 2012 European Football Championships qualifiers. The Netherlands has been placed in a group with Sweden, Hungary, Finland, Moldavia and San Marino.
Analysts believe the Dutch team has a reasonable chance of success against these countries, with Sweden, Hungary and Finland being the strongest rivals. Hungary's national coach is Dutchman Erwin Koeman.
The 2012 European Championships will be played in Poland and Ukraine and the first qualifier matches will be played at the end of this year. The World Cup is being held in South Africa in June and July.
