The Dutch women's football team have made a bad start in the qualification rounds for the 2011 World Cup. The team managed by coach Vera Pauw lost 3-0 against Norway.
In the same group as the Netherlands are Macedonia, Slovakia and Belarus. The eight group winners qualify for play-offs to decide which four European teams go on to play in the Women's World Cup in Germany in June 2011. The Dutch women's team made the semi-final of the European Championship in September.
