Dutch frigate again captures pirates

The Dutch frigate Hr. Ms. Tromp on Wednesday again arrested Somalian pirates.

The Dutch vessel first discovered three boats carrying 13 pirates 400 kilometres southwest of the Seychelles. Their weapons were confiscated and two of the three boats were sunk. The pirates were released and put aboard the remaining vessel, in accordance with European Union guidelines.

Later, the Tromp captured four suspected pirates who are now being held aboard the frigate. On Tuesday, nine pirates were captured and detained aboard the Tromp. All the pirates will be put ashore in Somalia soon.
