Dutch football: Ajax move into second

Ajax have moved into second place in the Dutch Premier League after a convincing 5-1 away win over RKC Waalwijk.

The Amsterdam team are now one point ahead of PSV in third place and four points behind leaders FC Twente.

In other Sunday games FC Groningen won 1-0 at home against Roda JC. Sparta lost at home 0-1 against AZ Alkmaar and ADO Den Haag against VVV Venlo ended 0-0.

PSV 1 FC Twente 1 

Heracles Almelo 3 NAC Breda 0 

Feyenoord  1 Vitesse  1 (score when match was abandoned due to flooding) 

Heerenveen 4 NEC 1
