The joint Dutch humanitarian organisations are rounding off their national collection for Haiti on Friday. Six weeks after the devastating earthquake the groups have received 108.9 million euros in donations from the Dutch population.
The money will be spent over the next three to five years towards immediate aid and afterwards on the reconstruction of Haiti.
Donations for Haiti will continue to be accepted on the groups' Postbank account 555 until 26 March. Money coming in after that date will be channelled to other aid projects.
