Turnout was high on the second day of the mass vaccination campaign of babies and toddlers in the Netherlands against A(H1N1) flu.
The Dutch National Health Service (GGD) estimates that between 60 and 80 percent of the children called up attended the inoculation centres on Tuesday. Organisation was good, with few long queues reported by the GGD.
Monday was the first day of the mass vaccinations against swine flu (known as Mexican flu in the Netherlands) and a similarly high percentage of those called up attended the centres.
Detailed turnout figures for this week's first round will only be released on Friday. A second round of mass vaccinations will take place in mid-December.
About one million children aged between six months and five years have been called up to receive the vaccine. Babies below six months will not be inoculated, but their family members will.
