      Colombia bombs FARC rebel camps

      The Colombian army says it has bombed two FARC rebel camps in the jungle killing 18 people.

       

      The attack was launched while the rebels were holding a New Year's Eve party. The Marxist FARC guerrilla movement has been fighting the Colombian government since the 1960s. Thousands of people have been killed in the fighting.
