Chile has been hit by another strong aftershock registering 6.7 on the Richter scale.
There are no reports of casualties and no tsunami warning was given. The epicentre of the latest aftershocks was off the coast of central Chile, around 70 kilometres northwest of Concepción.
Chile was struck by an 8.8 magnitude earthquake on 27 February. The city of Concepción, which was close to the epicentre, was devastated.
At least 500 people were killed, many of them died in a tsunami which followed the earthquake. Since then there have been many strong aftershocks.
