Five people have been killed in a bomb attack on a church in the Philippines. More than 30 others were injured in the blast.
The bomb exploded outside a Catholic church in the southern town of Cotabato as church-goers left morning mass. The police have now arrested a suspect, a man who tried to enter the church later with more explosives.
The Filipino authorities believe the explosion was the work of the separatist Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). The movement has been fighting for its own Islamic state in the southern Philippines for 30 years.
