Cambodia records first Mexican flu fatality

The Cambodian authorities have announced the first death from the Mexican flu at a hospital in the capital Phnom Penh. The victim was a 40-year-old woman who had been ill for a long time with lung problems.

 

Cambodia has recorded at least 88 cases of the A(H1N1) virus since June. More than 3,900 people have died from the virus since it was uncovered in April.
