      Arantxa Rus eliminated from US Open

      Dutch tennis player Arantxa Rus has been eliminated from the US Open women's singles in the first round.

       

      She was defeated by the Italian Sara Errani, who is currently in 42nd place internationally, whilst Rus is number 112.
