A group of language experts has crowned the French word 'amour' (love) as the world's most romantic word. The Italian for love, 'amore', comes in at number two, and third is 'bellissima', Italian for most beautiful.
The list was decided by the 320-strong staff of a London translation agency in the run-up to this Sunday's Valentine's Day. Italian won the title 'most romantic language', with French the runner up.
To say "I love you" in the most romantic way, the experts advise using Japanese - "Watakushi-wa anata-wo ai shimasu", Welsh - "Rydw i'n dy garu di" or, for Star Trek fans, Klingon - "Qaparha".

Thanks for keeping us informed, I knew a little Japanese, Italian and French but no Klingon whatsoever. I'll bring this up in my ielts speaking class since we're all new language enthusiasts. Too bad English doesn't have a word in this top, it's a beautiful language.
Great! Thanks for giving love space...on the site full of not so loving news..Thanks for the lovely banner of red roses,I just love it.
