Afghan President Hamid Karzai has visited Dutch troops in Uruzgan as they are preparing to leave the country later this year.
At Camp Holland, President Karzai underlined he respected a recent decision by the Dutch government to withdraw the troops from Uruzgan.
The Afghan leader again expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the contribution the Dutch soldiers have made to help rebuild the country. "The sacrifices you have made, will never be forgotten", he told them.
He also expressed sympathy with the families who lost loved ones in Uruzgan.
