Veteran Dutch footballers recently played a benefit match in Lima, to mark the 25th anniversary of the Dutch-Peruvian organisation ADESA, which runs educational, health and social projects in Peru.
This charity managed to get players like Ruud Gullit, the Van de Kerkhof brothers and Aron Winter to travel to Lima to play the former Peruvian champions.
Although the match generated little publicity because of the number of other sporting events taking place around the same time (the Libertadores Cup, the Peruvian national championship and a visit by the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour on its way to South Africa), RNW took the opportunity to follow ex-Dutch national squad member Aron Winter around for the day.

Wow! RNW covers Vancouver, and football but no news of the World Cup Hockey tournament being played in New Delhi, and that the Oranje are in the semi-finals....Wonder whom you are neglecting: Hockey/ Dutch hockey/Dutch players/tournament in New Delhi...Your news sense never ever fails to make me wonder!
