At least 80 people have been killed in fighting between rival militant groups in northern Afghanistan. Around 20 of the dead are civilians.
The fighting broke out after Taliban fighters allegedly abducted members of the Hezb-i-Islami militant group.
Hezb-i-Islami is the second largest militant group after the Taliban.
Unlike the Taliban, this group has said it is willing to participate in peace talks with the Afghan government.
