The Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment reports that the number of people diagnosed with Mexican flu has increased to 102.
Forty-seven of them contracted the disease in the Netherlands. On Thursday, Health Minister Ab Klink announced he would buy 34 million vaccines against the Mexican flu, enough to inoculate the entire Dutch population at least twice, should experts find that necessary. The Mexican flu vaccine must be available by the end of this year at the latest.
