It's easy to mistake Senegal's dreadlocked Baye Falls for Rastas. But instead of Christianity, these West Africans use music to praise Islam.
The music scene in Senegal is vibrant, and the Baye Falls are avid contributors to the city's sounds. Often dressed in patchwork robes, these disciples prescribes to a sect of Islam in West Africa known as Mouridism, and they celebrate their devotion through their own style of chanting, drums and dancing.
