Africa in Progress - Vasectomy: a real option for African men?

African men have not been involved in family planning as much as their female counterparts. They are even more reluctant when it comes to permanent methods such as vasectomy. This program explains what vasectomy really is and attempts to demystify some of the myths and misconceptions associated with this procedure. Rwanda is the first African country to include vasectomy in its family planning strategy.
