There is very little land available to grow crops in our sprawling African cities. Yet the need for food produced within or near the cities is increasing. Some have found innovative ways to grow vegetables, in sacks or small urban gardens. In this edition we hear about the health risks involved in urban farming and how to make it safer for consumers and farmers.
