Africa in Progress - Radio show: Cities where the living is good

On air: 1 November 2012 0:00 - 8 November 2012 0:00 (Photo: AFP)

More about:

There’s a real estate boom in many African cities. That’s because middle-income workers are trying to acquire their own homes, mostly in the cities. There is concern though that these homes look foreign and do not reflect the continent's cultures.

In this edition, architecture students discuss how to make African cities more African with a young, inspiring award-winning architect.

Guests: Kobina Banning (Ghana/US), architecture students from the Central University College, Accra

Producer/presenter: Fiifi Koomson (Ghana)

Duration: 30'34
