Dr. Pascoal Mocumbi has dealt with health matters from two perspectives: as a doctor, and as a politician. He was a founding member of Mozambique’s liberation movement, and served as Prime Minister and Health Minister of his country.
As a medical doctor he has always been interested in maternal health. More specifically, he’s involved in research on how to prevent malaria among newborns. He is our guest in this edition of Africa in Progress.
