Africa in Progress - Education in Africa: computers are not enough

Are computers absolutely essential to education? Eliada Gutza, an educationalist from Zimbabwe is working on an initiative to have one million computers installed in the classrooms of Africa.

However, he says information and communication technology (ICT), is not enough. Vision is crucial.

Of course computers are important for the education. There were made a lot studies on this subject. I’ve gained my and I studied some pretty valuable things about this in the pedagogy course. Anyway, if this article didn’t convince you, check out Computers and Education, An International Journal.
