Soap operas are extremely popular in Africa. In general, they either entertain, educate, or do both! In this edition of Africa in Progress, we examine the thinking behind successful radio dramas. Musekeweya, a long running radio drama in Rwanda, is successful because it tackles controversial issues head on.
