Princess Carolina to marry in June

Princess Carolina of Bourbon-Parma (37), the youngest daughter of Queen Beatrix’s sister Princess Irene and her late husband Spanish Prince Carlos Hugo, is to marry Albert Brenninkmeijer in the church of San Miniato al Monte in the Italian city of Florence on 16 June.

The couple, who have been engaged for more than a year, announced their marriage in January. Mr Brenninkmeijer (37) is a member of the board of C&A France, a subsidiary of the Brenninkmeyer family business. He was born in Paris and went to university in Scotland and England.

Princess Carolina currently works for a department of the United Nations Geneva office which coordinates humanitarian aid.
