Poland angry about PVV complaints website

Published on 8 February 2012 - 11:11am
More about:

Geert Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) launched a website on Wednesday where people can air their complaints about migrant workers from central and east European countries.

An introductory statement on the site says: “Are they causing you problems? Or did you lose your job to a Pole, Bulgarian, Romanian or other Central of East European? We would love to hear from you.”

The party wants to present the complaints to Social Affairs Minister Henk Kamp.

In the national daily AD, a spokesperson for the Polish embassy expressed disappointment: “Insulting party initiatives are not conducive to a calm debate.”
