Ethiopian Dibaba retains women's 10,000m title

Ethiopian Tirunesh Dibaba successfully defended her women's Olympic 10,000m title in convincing style on Friday.

Dibaba, a seven-time world champion and also Olympic champion and world record holder in the 5000m, clocked 30min 20.75sec.

Kenya's Sally Kipyego claimed silver in 30:26.37, while teammate and reigning world champion Vivian Cheruiyot took bronze in 30:30.44.
