Amla lifts South Africa to 287-5 against England

Published on 28 August 2012 - 9:45pm
More about:

South Africa, after winning the toss, made 287 for five against England in the second one-day international at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on Tuesday.

Hashim Amla made a superb 150, the highest individual score in one-dayers between the two countries, before the opener was out two balls before the end of the innings in this day/night fixture.

The five-match series is level at 0-0 after Friday's opener in Cardiff ended in a no-result wash-out due to the rain. Scoreboard
