10 million euros' worth of heroin seized

Published on 11 May 2012 - 9:40am
More about:

Dutch police have arrested a man who had 325 kilograms of heroin. The man was captured in a warehouse in Rotterdam.

The heroin has an estimated street value of more than 10 million euros. Rotterdam police are calling this a “big catch.” They were able to make the arrest after being tipped off by Europol, the EU’s law enforcement agency.

It is not yet clear where the hard drugs came from nor where they were headed. The police have not ruled out making further arrests and say the investigation is still underway.
